Oh man, I totally get where you’re coming from. I was the exact same way a few months back – saw someone talking about that whole “keyboard what to know” thing and thought, *yes, this is the missing piece to my life*.

So I got it. My apartment was (and still is) a mess – laundry pile in the corner, dishes from two days ago, you get the vibe. I cleared a spot on my desk and sat down all excited.

What annoyed me? The **setup**. Like, it wasn’t hard exactly, but there were so many little steps and I kept second-guessing myself. I think I spent more time reading instructions than actually using it. And the noise… nobody warned me about the noise. Every time I did something, it made this little click or hum that just drove me crazy while my toddler was napping. I almost gave up right there.

One thing that surprised me (but I’m not gonna oversell it) – I did notice my typing felt a tiny bit smoother after a week. Like, maybe? Could have been placebo. No clue if that feature actually works or if I just got lucky. It wasn’t life-changing or anything.

But honestly… my old method was way simpler. I used a regular keyboard and just took breaks. That worked fine. I think I bought into the hype without really needing it. Maybe I used it wrong? I probably didn’t even set it up right… there were so many options.

Anyway, if you’re a newbie, don’t stress. It might be useful for *some* people, but for me? I’d have been better off just stretching my wrists and keeping my desk clean. (Clean desk would be a start, ha.)
